I’m the Founder & CEO of Safety First Management, LLC, a nationwide safety consulting firm helping companies — from Fortune 500s to family-owned businesses — reduce risk, prevent injuries, and strengthen safety culture. With over 20 years in occupational safety, I blend hands-on leadership with system-based strategies that deliver measurable results in OSHA compliance, hazard control, and workers’ compensation cost reduction. As a nationally recognized ASSP speaker, I’ve presented at local, regional, and national conferences on topics including ANSI/ASSP Z10.0 Safety Management Systems, transitioning from “safety hero” to sustainable safety culture, and leadership engagement. I’m also a distinguished instructor at CSUDH OSHA Training Education Center and Past President of the ASSP Long Beach Chapter, where I led a 25% membership increase in 2 years and achieved Platinum-level recognition for the first time in the chapter’s history. I’m passionate about mentoring future safety professionals and advocating for Latino worker safety — an OSHA-identified at-
risk group.
